Michael Crighton was recently voted onto the AusIMM’s Consultany Society Committee for a one year term. The AusIMM Consultants Society is dedicated to supporting professional employed, operating or interested in the area of mineral industry consulting. Michael objectives are for the Consoc Society are to gain; Greater industry awareness into consultancies, the trials and tribulations, Fairer treatment of Geologists, particularly in the current economic downturn, and to Increase the marketing, branding and promotion of AusIMM’s ConSoc Register
Geopub
Geological Solutions is proud to support the new Chapter of Geopub which recently commenced on the Sunshine Coast. Geopub is a social networking event for Geologists, Engineers and other like minded professionals to get together to catch up on “goss”, have a few drinks, talk technical, reminisce and/or generally socialize. The Sunshine Coast Geopub is held on the last Wednesday of every month at the Imperial Hotel, Eumundi.
Strategic Metals Australia
Geological Solutions has recently successfully completed the first round of drilling on Strategic Metals Australia’s Georgetown leases. The program was completed safely and incident free. Geological Solutions will be completing the model and assisting in more higher end work over the upcoming months.
